Introduced in 2007, LEDucation has become the largest LED-only tradeshow and educational forum in the United States. Organized by the Designers Lighting Forum of New York, LEDucation is the ultimate marketplace for solid-state lighting innovations, giving industry professionals a chance to experience new technologies as well as continue their education through a wide range of accredited seminars. LEDucation is a non-profit event, and its proceeds help stimulate future LED advancements by supporting a variety of grants, scholarships and lighting programs.
The 2020 event will feature over 400 leading manufacturers of architectural lighting, controls and related technologies showcasing their latest products and lighting solutions to an estimated 6,000+ attendees.
New this year, LEDucation 2020 has added a Controls and Components exhibit area on the second floor of the Americas Hall which will feature an additional 90+ controls and components manufacturers. This will provide other products of interest to the specification, manufacturing, and lighting design community.
Also new this year is an LED Museum that will be located in the main lounge area. The museum will feature a collection of first-generation LED products from various lighting designers and manufacturers, and give attendees a unique chance to learn about the ingenuity and innovation that inspired the lighting industry.
In addition, thirty accredited seminars will be presented over the 2-day Conference on subjects related to areas of LED lighting, including design methodologies and processes, controls, codes and compliances, daylighting, healthcare, innovation, emerging technologies, and other aspects of the lighted environment
