OUR NEW LINE OF I.P.65 RATED, WET LISTED, LINEAR FLUORESCENT FIXTURES
Introducing the All Weather™ line of I.P.65 rated, wet listed, linear T5 and T8 fluorescent fixtures. The specification grade All Weather™ line is available in T5 and T8 as a single lamp fixture, a two-lamp fixture, and a staggered fixture for wet location runs. These are available in 14W, 21W, 28W or 35W linear fluorescent T5 or 17W, 25W, 32W, or 40W linear T8 lamps. The staggered fixtures are available in 24W, 39W, 54W, and 80W High Output versions.
The I.P.65 rating is considered, by many, a more stringent designation than a UL listing. The first number, in this case “6” represents protection from solid objects. Six is the highest on the scale, meaning the fixture is totally protected against dust. The second number, “5”, represents the unit’s protection from liquids. In the case of our All Weather™ line, it is protected against low-pressure jets of water from all directions with limited ingress permitted.
Other features of the All Weather™ fixture include, 120V – 277V universal voltage, program start, and our standard finishes (white, black, silver, platinum, bronze, primer), with dimming and emergency options available.

Bartco Lighting Combats Field Dimension Changes with the SLIDE-A-LIGHT®
We have just introduced the SLIDE-A-LIGHT® (US patent #8,152,331) field-adjustable, linear T5 fluorescent fixture. The specification grade SLIDE-A-LIGHT® fixture is adjustable from 2’ to 3’ to 4’ nominal lengths. It is made for a single 14W, 21W, or 28W linear fluorescent T5 lamp.
Designed for lighting specifiers, architects, contractors, and distributors, the SLIDE-A-LIGHT® yields budgetary relief. It ships as a 2’ fixture, costs equitable to a standard 4’ strip, reduces down-time in the field, saves valuable storage space, and it eliminates the need for multiple SKU’s & inventory.
Other features of the SLIDE-A-LIGHT® fixture include, 120V – 277V universal voltage, program start, UL & ULC listing for dry and damp locations, dimming options. The SLIDE-A-LIGHT® also features Bartco Lighting’s patented Rotating Locking Sockets.
The SLIDE-A-LIGHT® fixture joins the REACH by bartco™ line of fixtures which are all field-adjustable and help generate labor, inventory, and freight savings. Sejung Oh Wins the IESNY 2012 Student Lighting Competition
New York, NY – MARCH 2012
This year’s IES NY Student Lighting Competition, like those of the past, drew a pool of talent from Parsons, Pratt, the NY School of Interior Design, and other great institutions. The competition’s theme was Fraction/Refraction, and it did not disappoint. There were a record number of contestants and a record number of attendees. Here’s to IES NY for another stellar event.
